We do certification differently
We are a family-owned ISO certification body built around a single belief - that certification can and should be a force for good in the world. We deliver internationally recognised certification, practical improvements to your organisation, and through our impact model, every audit contributes to something bigger than the certificate itself.
Our commitment
"We have redesigned our certification body to be one built from the ground up as a certification body for the world."
José Bishop, Managing Director

Our JASANZ and IAF accreditation means your certificate is recognised in over 100 countries and listed on the international IAF CertSearch register, giving your clients, regulators and government tenders the proof they need to choose you to work with!

Our B Corp certification and 1% for the Planet membership mean that when you choose us, every audit contributes to something bigger than your business.

Our story so far
From family roots to global impact
Certification Oceania started as a family business, set up in 2020 by José's uncle and aunt, who wanted to bring helpful, human-centred certification services to the Oceania region. José joined from the start as a Lead Auditor and Sales Manager, helping build the business from the ground up and attain JASANZ accreditation.
When his aunt and uncle decided it was time to swap audits for golf, José and his fiancée Talani saw an opportunity. They purchased Certification Oceania with a clear mission: to continue the family legacy, but take it further. To build a certification body that did things differently. One that championed change in the compliance industry, left a positive impact after every audit, and proved that running a business for good and running a good business aren't mutually exclusive.
That belief is baked into everything we do, from how we audit, to who we partner with, to where our profits go. We're not just here to certify your systems. We're here to use certification as a force for good in the world, and to inspire others to do the same.
The Good Fund
Our purpose is simple: to find the good, back the good, and grow the good.
We give 5% of our revenue to The Good Fund, hosted through the Australian Communities Foundation, reinvesting the work we do together into the communities we all live in.
For us, that means advancing good health and wellbeing - lifting health literacy through awareness and education, with a focus on women's and mental health. It means strengthening communities so they can be safe, resilient, and connected; from Indigenous communities to those affected by domestic and family violence. And through our 1% for the Planet commitment, it means funding grassroots organisations tackling our most urgent environmental challenges.
Our vision is to improve the experience for the people we work with and the communities we live in. The Good Fund is how we put that into practice.
When you choose to be Certified with Impact™, you turn a cost of doing business into a genuine force for good - for your organisation, and for someone completely unrelated to your audit.
