Why certify?

Certification is proof. Proof to your customers, your team, and everyone watching that you take what you do seriously, and that you do it to a standard the whole world has agreed on.

But proof only counts if people trust it. That's where accreditation comes in. Our certifications are accredited by JASANZ, which means they're recognised in over 100 countries and listed on the IAF CertSearch register. So when you're bidding for a government tender or working with a large company anywhere in the world, your certificate holds up.

Each standard says something specific about how you run your business:

ISO 9001 (Quality) - you deliver quality consistently, and you meet what your customers actually need.‍

ISO 14001 (Environment) - you're actively working to reduce your impact on the planet.

ISO 45001 (Safety) - you put your people first, with real systems to reduce the risk of injury or harm at work.

ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security) - you protect your clients' data and manage your information responsibly.

ISO/IEC 42001 (AI) - you're building and using AI transparently and responsibly.

Whichever you choose, you're adopting the internationally agreed best practice for how to run that part of your business and turning "trust us" into "here's the proof."

Six reasons we're
‍your partner

Internationally recognised

JASANZ and IAF accreditation. Recognised in 100+ countries. Listed on the IAF CertSearch register, giving clients, regulators, and government tenders the proof they need.

Collaborative by design

We look for conformity first. Where there's a gap, we work with your team to close it through practical recommendations in plain language, not a clause-by-clause finding list.

Flexible audits, built around yoU

Stage 1 is usually remote. Stage 2 is scheduled around your team, with asynchronous elements built in wherever possible. We adapt to you, not the other way around.

Consultant, DIY & platform-friendly

We play well with others. GRC platforms, internal consultants or your own internal setup - we fit seamlessly into your existing setup and keep things moving.

You’ll know us by name

From first enquiry to certificate, you'll have a dedicated point of contact at every stage. Our leadership team is hands-on; a member of our senior team attends every opening or closing meeting personally to say g’day. Call us, WhatsApp us, email us. Our door is always open.

People who are invested in your growth

We only work with auditors who are genuinely passionate about improving your business and invested in your business, year after year.

What's the difference between accredited and non-accredited certification?

It's the question we get asked most, usually right after someone's been quoted a cheaper price by an unaccredited body.

Certification is the tick that says your business meets the standard. Accreditation is what makes that tick mean something.

Anyone can set up shop and hand out certificates, there's nothing stopping them. To become accredited, a certification body like us has to be independently audited itself: our competence, our impartiality, and the way we run every single audit is scrutinised against ISO's own rules for certification bodies. JASANZ, our accreditation body, is one of the most respected in the world and recognised internationally through the IAF. So there's a chain of trust sitting behind your certificate - you're audited by us, we're audited by JASANZ, and JASANZ is recognised globally through the IAF.

The reason you pay more for it is because an accredited certificate actually does the job you're buying it for:‍

It's recognised everywhere. Through the IAF, your certificate is accepted in 100+ countries, not just wherever the issuing body happens to be based.

It's verifiable. Accredited certificates are listed on the public IAF CertSearch register, so any client, regulator or tender panel can confirm yours is genuine.

It survives scrutiny. This is the big one. Most government tenders and large companies specifically require accredited certification. An unaccredited certificate is often quietly knocked back at the pre-qualification stage, which means you've paid for a certificate that can't be used for the very thing you needed it for.

Our process

YEAR 1

Stage 1

This is usually remote, and we can do this whenever you're ready

Think of this as your gap analysis. We review your documentation, identify what's looking good, flag any areas of concern, and make sure you're show-ready for Stage 2.

YEAR 1

Stage 2

We recommend roughly 1-4 weeks after Stage 1

This is where your system steps onto the main stage. Your auditor will review your operations, meet your team, and assess your management system against the requirements of your chosen standard. This can be done remotely, on-site or a hybrid of the two - we'll confirm what's right for your business during audit planning.

Your certificate will be issued within 5-7 business days after your Stage 2

‍

YEAR 2

Surveillance 1

We return to check progress, make sure your system is being maintained, and identify new opportunities to improve. We look at what's working well and where small tweaks could make a big difference, keeping your system strong, your team confident, and your certification meaningful.

‍

YEAR 3

Surveillance 2

This is about consistency and ongoing value. We assess long-term performance, review trends, follow up on previous improvements, and help you keep your system lean, effective, and useful. Because great certification isn't just about the moment you achieve it, it's about what you do with it over time.

YEAR 4

Recertification

Following two surveillance audits, you will have a recertification audit, where we will review all the requirements of your chosen standard(s) and reissue your certificate to reflect a new three-year certification cycle.

The Good Fund

Our purpose is simple: to find the good, back the good, and grow the good.

We give 5% of our revenue through the Australian Communities Foundation to The Good Fund, reinvesting the work we do together into the communities we all live in.

For us, that means advancing good health and wellbeing - lifting health literacy through awareness and education, with a focus on women's and mental health. It means strengthening communities so they can be safe, resilient, and connected; from Indigenous communities to those affected by domestic and family violence. And through our 1% for the Planet commitment, it means funding grassroots organisations tackling our most urgent environmental challenges.

Our vision is to improve the experience for the people we work with and the communities we live in. The Good Fund is how we put that into practice.

When you choose to be Certified with Impact™, you turn a cost of doing business into a genuine force for good - for your organisation, and for someone completely unrelated to your audit.
